iCcare Awards

In 2011, the Sault Area Hospital Board of Directors established the iCcare Awards to recognize an employee, volunteer and physician who regularly demonstrate the values of Sault Area Hospital: Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration &, Partnership, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Our values are an integral part of how we shape the delivery of quality, patient-centred care.
This is the second year for SAH's iCcare Awards. The awards are administered by the Governance Committee of the Sault area Hospital Board of Directors. Nominees for an iCcare Award must be an employee, physician or volunteer in good standing at Sault Area Hospital. Members of the Governance Committee are neither eligible to receive the award nor to nominate a potential recipient. All members of the public, staff, physician and volunteer groups may submit a nomination form for one or more of the three categories.
The Governance Committee is looking for nominees that continually demonstrate each iCcare value. The nomination form (below) outlines the criteria for nomination. Sault Area Hospital will issue a call for nominations every February and the Hospital’s Governance Committee will review the nominations and make the selection.
The Award will be presented at Sault Area Hospital’s Annual General Meeting, which will take place on June 27, 2013. A permanent award display unit is located in the main lobby of the hospital.
The deadline for submissions is March 28, 2013.
