Volunteer Association
The Volunteer Association is a member of the Hospital Auxiliaries Association of Ontario, which is the provincial association, which provides guidance and educational opportunities for volunteers across the province.
The Volunteer Association Executive provides leadership for its mandate of service and fundraising in support of the SAH Foundation. The Association operates the gift shops and HELLP lottery tickets in addition to volunteering in patient care areas. Special fundraisers are held from time to time such as Christmas Boutiques, bake sales, raffles and card parties. An annual Fashion Show is a signature event that has been a successful revenue generating fundraiser that is held each fall. Fashions are provided by local businesses.
By volunteering at Sault Area Hospital, you are a member of the Volunteer Association and are welcome to attend meetings, dinners, or to participate in any special events. Assistance with these special events would be appreciated - you make great friends through volunteering.
